Career Summary
Orders are taken for food and drinks, and products are swiftly delivered to diners.
Important Tasks and Responsibilities
Greet visitors in the dining area promptly and cordially; accept orders for food and drinks quickly while according to the approved service protocol.
Maintains safe food handling and sanitation standards while providing quick and professional meal delivery. occasionally check in to see if there are any new demands or needs.
Complete grasp of menu items and ingredients is displayed. When asked, provides guidance to guests on the best meal and drink pairings; accommodates reasonable requests; and records preferences. Shows understanding of specific diets and allergies as necessary.
Directly interacts with the back-of-the-house employees to coordinate the delivery of orders and the fulfilment of specific requests.
Excellent communication abilities are displayed, as well as the ability to get along with people. Maintains flexibility and patience when speaking with visitors and employees.
Collects tickets and handles payments in accordance with the law.
Encourages creating a tidy, safe, and clean atmosphere for visitors.
Demonstrates extreme sensitivity and discretion while sharing personal or medical information.
Quickly resolves concerns or complaints; transmits pertinent information or grievances to supervisor.
Maintains the dining space in a clean, orderly manner while adhering to prescribed sanitary requirements. Ensures that the dining room is correctly set up before and after the service time.
operates a range of machinery, including coffee makers, iced tea and soda machines, fire extinguishers, and telephones.
Performs job responsibilities for special events and festivities in collaboration with workers from other departments.
Does other tasks as directed.
